At MDFI, everything we teach is centered around our “Whole Person Concept.”

Life is not all about carrying a gun. It is not all about self-defense. It is however in a solid foundation of self-defense skills and the education on when those skills are applicable, legal, and acceptable that allow a responsible citizen a life of liberty and happiness as they are prepared should something threaten that.

Having skills for when a gun or any self-defense tool is not right for the job is paramount. As such, MDFI has teamed up with the professionals at Warrior Way Martial Arts to offer sound physical defensive training for the MDFI Alumni.

This collaboration should translate wonderfully for those who carry a firearm for defense and train with MDFI, and those who are looking to build a new set of defensive skills.

Warrior Way

Warrior Way offers reality based self defense courses in Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing and has the distinction of having the longest running Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program in the state.

The goal at Warrior Way is to help people better their lives through self confidence, discipline and physical fitness that training in the Martial Arts can bring. Based on reality, our systems provide you with a realistic form of self-defense that anyone, regardless of age or physical ability, can learn.

Though Warrior Way has produced several BJJ World Champions, Muay Thai Champions, as well as amateur and professional MMA champions, Warrior Way’s number one priority is teaching the basics in a structured and safe enviornment. As a way of honoring those who protect us, Warrior Way also works closely with the local law enforcement to help keep those in uniform safe while on duty.

MDFI Alumni should contact Warrior Way to hear about their program and the benefits they receive when training with them.
